Howdy Friends! I can’t believe it’s already the middle of August! For us that means we will be going on our last hockey tournament of the summer. I am so excited because that also means I get to hit up some of my favourite stores in Minneapolis. Being from a smaller city there are a lot of stores that I don’t get to visit too often. Like Ikea, Macy’s, Sam’s Club… the list could go on forever. Even though the shopping won’t be for me so much because my oldest boy is growing like a weed and needs new clothes again. But I still get excited to shop for them. Hey, shopping is shopping! right ladies?
My Classic Meatballs recipe is the one I have been using for years for all kinds of dishes that have meatballs in it. If you can make a few batches of these and freeze them, thats a bonus because they sure are handy dandy to have during those crazy evenings running to practices and lessons.
Sometimes I sneak in a certain vegetable because certain kids won’t eat them if they see this certain veggie in there. I do this by throwing it in the blender with the milk and eggs.
You can also mix up the ground meat and use pork, veal, or turkey. There’s many combinations. I prefer just all beef meatballs, but beef/pork are popular also.
